Tidewater Quilted Coverlet

A coverlet rather than a quilt — light enough to use on its own through summer, and thin enough to layer under a duvet without adding bulk in winter. It is washed cotton throughout, channel-stitched in narrow lines that keep the filling exactly where it should be instead of letting it migrate into one corner after a few washes. The chalk white is undyed. It is the piece most people end up using year round: over the end of the bed, over your knees on the sofa, thrown in the car for the beach. Our mark is embroidered tonally into the lower corner. Machine washable and it comes out of the dryer ready to use.
