Washed Linen Bedding Set

Spun from French flax and stonewashed until it has no starch left in it, this is bedding that is soft the first night rather than the fiftieth. Linen breathes in a way cotton does not — it holds warmth in winter and sheds it in summer — and it gets softer every time it goes through the wash. The set includes a duvet cover with interior ties, a fitted sheet with a deep skirt that stays on the mattress, and two pillowcases. Colours are piece-dyed in small lots, so the chalk white and sea mist read as slightly different across batches; that is the nature of the dye, not a fault. Our woven mark is stitched to the hem of the top sheet. Wash warm, tumble low, and skip the iron.
